When I was a kid, my sisters and I played “spy.” This meant sneaking around buildings or empty lots or neighborhoods or parks pretending to hide from bad guys or, if we spotted “suspicious” strangers, spying on them!
Ever since then, I’ve loved stories of intrigue and action whether told in books, movies or TV shows. The only thing better than a spy/action/adventure story is one that adds in romance. That’s the kind of story that grabs my imagination and chains me to the computer to write.
When I’m not dreaming up scenes and dialogue, I consult with clients on a range of marketing and branding projects. This, too, can involve writing though it’s usually done as short bullet points in PowerPoint. I share my life, dreams and some of my plotting dilemmas with my husband and my sister. I share my lap and home office with my cats, Finn and Dash, who are my constant companions and, sometimes, distractions.
I’m a winner of two RWA chapter contests and a Daphne finalist. My work has appeared in Orange Coast magazine, The Family Digest and Purpose.
